EVALUATING THE CURRENT STATE OF NOTIFIABLE DISEASE REPORTING IN A DENTAL HOSPITAL

Abstract

The surveillance and management of infectious diseases rely on comprehensive epidemic situation reports, which play a pivotal role in early detection, source control, pathogen transmission prevention, and safeguarding vulnerable populations. The increasing demand for oral disease diagnosis and treatment among infectious patients has raised concerns regarding cross-infection risks among medical personnel during daily practices. To enhance the management of infectious diseases within our hospital and establish a scientific foundation for prevention and control, this study analyzes infectious disease epidemic data from 2018 to 2022.
