Medical errors pose a significant threat to patient safety and quality of healthcare services. This study addresses the widespread issue of medical errors, encompassing medication errors, hospital-acquired infections, inadequate patient monitoring, falls, communication breakdowns, and the use of inappropriate materials. Medical errors result from a range of factors, including carelessness, lack of experience, and failure to follow protocols. These errors have far-reaching consequences, leading to prolonged treatment, increased healthcare costs, emotional distress, and additional complications. Moreover, they erode the morale and motivation of healthcare professionals, undermine patients' trust in healthcare providers, and generate dissatisfaction with the healthcare system. While various safety measures have been implemented, medical errors remain common in healthcare settings worldwide. This study investigates the prevalence and impact of medical errors and underscores the need for robust strategies to enhance patient safety.
