The English language's global prominence is undebatable, serving as a lingua franca across the world. It boasts the status of an academic language and a medium of instruction in most countries. Additionally, it holds the official language designation in numerous nations and is widely taught and used as a medium of instruction in the Arab world. This linguistic influence extends its reach to countless regions. However, despite numerous studies delving into the learning challenges faced by adult Arabic speakers when acquiring English, a specific examination of this issue within the context of Kuwaiti learners of English remains conspicuously absent. This research endeavors to bridge this gap by providing an in-depth exploration of the unique learning difficulties experienced by Kuwaiti learners of English. By shedding light on the intricacies of this specific language learning context, this study contributes to a broader understanding of language acquisition challenges and facilitates targeted pedagogical approaches to address these issues.
