In the modern landscape, librarianship plays a pivotal role in addressing the ever-expanding and multifaceted information requirements of our society. This evolution is fueled by the escalating demand for information and communication across various domains, prompting the emergence of specialized sub-sectors. Notably, the realm of Health Sciences, encompassing disciplines like medicine and biology, is undergoing rapid transformations. These transformations are underpinned by dynamic technological infrastructure and vigorous research endeavors. Notably, Information Science is a linchpin for advancing health-related goals and securing societal well-being. This paper delves into the symbiotic relationship between librarianship and Health Sciences, highlighting the integral role of Information Science in the pursuit of health and societal welfare
